Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre is a unique residential centre run by youth organisation Woodcraft Folk. Located in the stunning Peak District National Park, the centre offers a comforting and inspiring base for outdoor experiences – catering for schools, youth groups, families and community organisations. Lockerbrook provides both bunk barn dormitories and camping pitches as well as an 18th century cottage to cater for a range of stays. The centre provides a welcoming and tailored service where people of all ages can connect with nature, unwind and the local diverse landscape of woodlands and moorlands of the upper Derwent Valley.

About Lockerbrook

A hidden gem that’s situated in a remote corner of the Peak District National Park, surrounded by breath-taking views over the Ladybower Reservoir. Lockerbrook can sleep up to 38 in our well equipped bunk barn, bunk bed dormitories. Available to hire separately is also an extra twin room in the West Barn (adjacent to the bunk barn) as well as three rooms that can sleep up to 6 in the onsite 18th century Wardens cottage. Giving a total of 46 indoor spaces!

Additional accommodation includes a camping field (tents only), available to hire for up to 25 people.

We only hire out Lockerbrook on a sole use basis which means you will have the place to yourselves!

Adventure Awaits with Woodcraft Folk

Woodcraft Folk is a youth organisation that has been running for 100 years. The charity manages Lockerbrook alongside three other UK outdoor centres that each offer a unique experience tailored to your needs.
 
The centres are open to everyone to book from youth clubs and schools to social groups, families and businesses. Woodcraft Folk also oversees over 200 local youth groups across the country for a range of ages, organises camps and events, campaigns on youth issues and runs an engaging youth programme with plenty of volunteering opportunities on offer.
